Hello this is Alan Freeman here of Endgame, the Auricle cassette label and Audion magazine.
An interesting fact with the Ponder This... CD release is that we've featured on releases with all but 3 of the other acts. They were compilations on our own or other UK indie cassette releases, with two of our other projects: Alto Stratus and Biomechanoid.
We were surprised to see that Mystery Hearsay is still around. We featured along with them on the cassette THE CANTILEVERS OF PASSION back in the mid-80's.

We decided to do another compilation in 1986, partly to use up interesting but non-album tracks we'd got from our collaborators, and partly because we wanted to. Unfortunately tensions within the band meant that this compilation never saw the light of day, except for the contributors edition.
